Copyright Notice

Authors who publish their articles in JITP: Jurnal Inovasi dan Transformasi Pendidikan agree to the following terms:

1. Authors Retain Copyright

Authors retain the copyright to their scholarly work. By publishing an article in JITP, the author(s) grant JITP: Jurnal Inovasi dan Transformasi Pendidikan, published by PT Trust Tech Indonesia Publisher, the right of first publication and the non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce, distribute, display, preserve, and make the article publicly available as part of the journal's scholarly publishing activities.

The transfer of the right of first publication does not constitute a transfer of copyright ownership. Copyright remains with the author(s).

2. Open License

Articles published in JITP are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).

Under this license, others are permitted to:

  • Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format; and
  • Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial purposes.

These permissions are granted under the following conditions:

  • Attribution — Users must give appropriate credit to the author(s), acknowledge the original publication in JITP, provide a link to the license, and indicate whether changes have been made.
  • ShareAlike — If users remix, transform, or build upon the material, they must distribute their contributions under the same license as the original work.
  • Users may not apply additional legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from exercising the rights granted by the license.

The license applies to the article unless otherwise indicated for specific third-party materials contained within the publication.

3. Non-Exclusive Distribution

Authors may enter into additional, separate contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the published version of their article.

Authors may, for example:

  • deposit the published article in an institutional or subject repository;
  • upload the article to an academic or personal website;
  • use the article for teaching and educational purposes;
  • include the article, or an appropriately acknowledged version of it, in a thesis or dissertation; or
  • republish the work as part of a book or other scholarly publication.

Such subsequent distribution or reuse must appropriately acknowledge that the work was first published in JITP: Jurnal Inovasi dan Transformasi Pendidikan and must comply with the applicable CC BY-SA 4.0 license terms.

4. Preprints and Prior Online Dissemination

JITP permits and encourages authors to share versions of their manuscripts online, including through institutional repositories, subject repositories, preprint servers, academic platforms, or personal websites, before submission or during the editorial process, provided that such dissemination does not violate third-party rights or other applicable agreements.

Authors are encouraged to disclose the existence and location of any publicly available preprint during submission where appropriate.

Following publication, authors are encouraged to update the preprint record, where possible, with the citation and link to the final published article in JITP.

The journal recognizes that responsible preprint sharing can facilitate scholarly communication, encourage early academic discussion, and enhance the visibility and accessibility of research.

5. Originality, Copyright, and Ethical Declaration

By submitting a manuscript to JITP, the author(s) declare and warrant that:

  • the manuscript represents original scholarly work;
  • all individuals listed as authors have made appropriate contributions to the work and have agreed to its submission;
  • the manuscript has not been previously published as a formal journal article and is not simultaneously under consideration for publication by another journal;
  • the manuscript does not contain unlawful, defamatory, libelous, or otherwise legally prohibited material;
  • the manuscript does not infringe the copyright, intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other legal rights of any third party;
  • the author(s) hold the necessary rights to submit and publish the manuscript;
  • all quotations, data, figures, tables, photographs, illustrations, instruments, and other materials originating from third parties have been appropriately acknowledged;
  • permission to reproduce copyrighted material has been obtained where legally required; and
  • all sources have been cited and acknowledged in accordance with accepted academic and ethical standards.

Authors are responsible for the accuracy of these declarations and for resolving any copyright, licensing, permission, or intellectual property issues associated with materials included in their manuscripts.

6. Agreement to Publication Terms

By submitting and publishing an article in JITP: Jurnal Inovasi dan Transformasi Pendidikan, the author(s) acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Copyright Notice and authorize JITP to publish the accepted article under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license.
