Author Fees

To support the operation, management, maintenance, and sustainability of its open-access publishing services, JITP: Jurnal Inovasi dan Transformasi Pendidikan applies the following author fee policy.

JITP is committed to maintaining transparency regarding all fees associated with manuscript submission, peer review, and publication.

1. Article Submission Fee

IDR 0 (Free of Charge)

JITP does not charge any article submission fee. Authors may submit manuscripts to the journal without any payment at the time of submission.

No payment is required for a manuscript to undergo initial editorial screening.

2. Fast-Track Review Fee

IDR 50,000

JITP offers an optional Fast-Track Review Service for authors who request prioritized handling of their manuscripts. Authors who choose this service are required to pay a Fast-Track Review Fee of IDR 50,000.

The Fast-Track Review Service is intended to support the additional administrative and editorial coordination required for prioritized manuscript processing.

Payment of the Fast-Track Review Fee does not guarantee acceptance, publication, or a favorable editorial decision. Manuscripts submitted through the fast-track service remain subject to the same editorial standards, plagiarism screening, ethical requirements, and double-blind peer-review process as regular submissions.

The Fast-Track Review Fee is separate from the Article Processing Charge (APC).

3. Article Processing Charge (APC)

IDR 100,000

An Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 100,000 is applied only to manuscripts that have been formally accepted for publication following the editorial and peer-review process.

Authors are not required to pay the APC before their manuscript has been accepted for publication.

The APC contributes to the costs associated with the publication and management of the journal, including:

  • editorial administration and manuscript processing;
  • online journal system operation and maintenance;
  • article production and publication;
  • copyediting and publication preparation;
  • metadata preparation and management;
  • digital archiving and online accessibility; and
  • other technical and administrative activities required to maintain the journal's open-access publishing services.

Payment of the APC does not influence the peer-review process, reviewers' recommendations, or editorial decisions. All manuscripts are evaluated based on their scholarly quality, originality, relevance, methodological or conceptual soundness, ethical compliance, and conformity with the journal's editorial policies.

4. APC Exemption for International Authors

JITP provides an APC exemption for international authors as part of its commitment to promoting international scholarly participation, knowledge exchange, and global academic collaboration.

Eligible international authors whose manuscripts are accepted for publication are not required to pay the Article Processing Charge (APC).

The APC exemption does not affect the journal's editorial standards or peer-review procedures. Manuscripts submitted by international authors are subject to the same initial editorial screening, plagiarism screening, double-blind peer review, ethical requirements, and publication standards as all other submissions.

6. Editorial Independence and Fee Transparency

All fees charged by JITP are independent of editorial decisions. Payment of any fee does not guarantee manuscript acceptance, favorable reviewer recommendations, or publication.

Editorial decisions are made solely on the basis of the manuscript's academic quality, originality, relevance to the journal's focus and scope, ethical compliance, and the results of the peer-review process.

JITP does not charge authors any fees other than those explicitly stated in this policy.

Authors will be informed of any applicable publication fee through the journal's official editorial communication.

By submitting a manuscript to JITP: Jurnal Inovasi dan Transformasi Pendidikan, authors acknowledge that they have read and understood the journal's Author Fees Policy.
