The Journal of Innovative Vocational Education and Technology (JIVET) is an international peer-reviewed academic publication dedicated to advancing research and practice in vocational education. JIVET accepts two types of submissions: original research articles presenting empirical findings and methodological innovations, and comprehensive review articles that synthesize existing literature and identify emerging trends.

JIVET ensures long-term access to published content through participation in the following digital preservation systems:
LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)
CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS)
These systems store journal content across multiple institutions to guarantee its safety and availability over time.
This journal may receive support from educational institutions, professional organizations, or other sponsors. However, such support does not influence the editorial or peer-review process, which remains independent and based solely on scholarly merit.
JIVET was first launched in 2025 in response to the growing need for a scholarly forum focused on innovative practices and research in vocational education and applied technology. Over time, JIVET has evolved to keep pace with academic and industrial developments, expanding its collaborative network and readership reach.
