Article Processing Charge

The Journal of Innovative Vocational Education and Technology (JIVET) is an open access journal. All published articles are freely available to read, download, and share without any subscription or access fee. To maintain the quality of the editorial process and the sustainability of open access publication, JIVET applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to accepted manuscripts.

Submission Fee: Free (IDR 0)
Authors are not charged any fee for submitting a manuscript or for the peer review process.

Article Processing Charge: IDR 100,000
The APC is charged only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication following peer review. Payment is not a factor in the editorial decision, and the ability to pay has no influence on whether a manuscript is accepted.

Fast Track Review: IDR 50,000 (optional, in addition to the APC)
Authors who need an expedited review process may opt for the Fast Track service. This option shortens the review and decision timeline; specific turnaround times can be stated here (e.g. "decision within 7 to 14 days" instead of the regular schedule). Fast Track is optional and does not guarantee acceptance; it only accelerates the review process.

What the Fees Cover
The APC supports the costs of managing the peer review process, plagiarism screening, copyediting and proofreading, layout and typesetting, DOI registration through Crossref, online hosting and long term archiving, and indexing and dissemination of published articles. The Fast Track fee covers the additional editorial resources required to prioritize and expedite the review of the manuscript.

Payment Procedure
After acceptance (or upon requesting Fast Track), the corresponding author will receive a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) or Fast Track confirmation and an invoice from the editorial office. Payment should be made by bank transfer to the following account:

Proof of payment should be uploaded through the OJS system or sent to ryzen.techno@gmail.com within [7/14] days of receiving the invoice.

Waiver Policy
JIVET provides full or partial APC waivers for authors who are unable to pay, particularly students, early career researchers, and authors from institutions with limited funding. Waiver requests must be submitted to the editor at the time of submission, together with a brief justification. Each request is evaluated individually, and the waiver decision is independent of the editorial decision. The Fast Track fee is not eligible for waiver.

Refund Policy
Once an article has been published, the APC is non refundable. If a manuscript is withdrawn by the author after payment but before publication, the refund will be considered on a case by case basis. The Fast Track fee is non refundable once the expedited review process has begun, regardless of the final editorial decision.
